Not bad considering the pace of the current would have taken them in ten minutes otherwise. It wouldn't hold them but sure did slow the drag.
I use it for a 500lb Seadoo. The padded bag is great since it gets bounced around in the storage compartment.
Great for small crafts. I once used it to hold 2 seadoos in rough semi rough water.
Keeps it from breaking other stuff. Works super in calm water.
Every 1/2 hour they would go about 10 feet. Great if you are looking for an anchor with limited storage space.
Well made quality product. Storage bag is well padded so you stub your toe.
The anchor is a solid product for a light boat or inflatable. The carrying case is nicely padded and fits the entire length of rope without spilling out. I have yet to take it out on the water, but it seems to be well made. My only complaint is the collar that keeps the prongs from splaying out doesn't work too well. Keep in mind the rope is hollow braid polypropylene. I swapped mine out for nylon and changed to a 50'length.
Engages nicely and is easy to use, but the tines break off very easily. Basically this is not quite strong enough.
First time I used it three of the four tines broke off. If I did not have a friend with a PWC, my Seadoo would be out some where in the Atlantic right know. I do not suggest this item if you plan to use it in a strong current area.
